Autumn play

June 4, 2012

It seems we are always in the Margaret River region as of late. This time we went with a bunch of friends to celebrate a 30th and even though Lily was the only child present, she still had fabulous time being spoilt by everyone.

We managed to squeeze a teeny tiny bit of wine tasting (how times have changed!) and I was surprised at how most places we visited provided toys or had outdoor play equipment.

Lily had the best time at Bootleg Brewery and Cheeky Monkey as they had lots of space for her to run around. The kids even got to play with some musical instruments to accompany the band.

The only difficult time was when we took Lily to the beach and she refused to leave. We dipped her feet to show her it was too cold for a swim but she she still wanted to go in! And she did her stiff bean pole move when we tried putting her back in the stroller – she wouldn’t budge so we had to carry her back until she couldn’t see the beach!

Hope you all had a great weekend too!

Haha, the stiff bean pole act is such a classic! She looks so adorable here and like she’s having the time of her life.

She was having the time of her life and so was I! We spent 4 hours running around!

Ah… We call it ‘stiff back’ and Abi is already and expert…
Loving the little Nikes! Very cute! Especially when paired with a tutu skirt!

I’m making sure she gets good use out of those threads as they grow out of them so quickly!
