To say I’m excited about the Kate Spade and Florence Broadhurst  (via Signature Prints) collaboration is an understatement. I’ve always loved the eccentric and ultra-feminine Florence Broadhurst prints and seeing these designs now ‘off the wall’, in conjunction with the colourful Kate Spade brand , is certainly a match made in design heaven for me.

I think this is a great example of two designers sharing the same synergies and collaborating without either brand losing it’s integrity – unlike most ‘celebrity’ projects or high street/high fashion partnerships. The spirit of both brands is not only maintained but blended and intensified into it’s own distinctive story…and isn’t this what good design is all about?

I wouldn’t mind getting my hands on the shoes…the sneakers and the court heels!

What do you think of design collaborations?

Love the prints! If only the dresses are a bit longer …
