Fremantle with feathers

August 17, 2010

Boats in Fremantle

I’m now 30 weeks pregnant and couldn’t be happier. Finding time to relax and unwind is now a priority whereas before {my pregnancy} it was all about squeezing as many social appointments and tasks into the day.

My DH and I had a nice leisurely stroll in Fremantle {Western Australia} where we ate fish and chips at the iconic Cicerellos – unlike previous occasions where we would just walk straight into Little Creatures Brewery with a bunch of friends and not come out until the evening.

It was nice and comforting to just be the two {and a half} of us for once. Not frantically driving around town to purchase items for our To Do list. Not sleeping in after a heavy Saturday night. Just enjoying the sunshine.

 Ahhh bliss…simplicity…freedom…

I had a bit of fun with my outfit nonetheless. The Alice McCALL dress I picked up for 70% off at a Thread people sale. With it being so loose, I felt it was a good investment for maternity and nursing.

The feather cape I actually bought in Fremantle over year ago. I love how the blue/green highlights of the feathers complement the texture of the dress.

30 weeks pregnant: Alice McCALL dress, Sass & Bide Rats, Museum feather cape, Topshop belt, Louis Vuitton Neverfull bag, Nine West flats, Tiffany charm bracelet
