World cup meals

July 18, 2010

The 2010 World Cup is over and even though it means I don’t have to listen to constant vuvuzela sounds or Cristiano Ronaldo advocating Castrol, I will miss our meal challenge where we made a meal from one of the countries playing each day. It was certainly interesting and challenging time for us! Here are some photos of the meals we enjoyed the most…

Ghana – Jollof rice with Chicken

Mexico – Empanadas

Brazil – Moqueca de peixe with Pirao

Netherlands – Dutch Leek Beef and Ham Casserole

Germany – Jaegerschnitzel with Mushroom Sauce and Käsespätzle

Sure! Let me know which recipes you are interested in and I’ll email you. Every recipe was found on google and then we adapted it according to the ingredients we had on hand.
